Job Posting: VIS is HIRING!

Volunteers In Service is adding an Intake Specialist to our team.  The Intake Specialist serves as the welcoming voice of VIS to those calling on the phone, including VIS Friends (clients), volunteers, referring agencies, church partners, etc. They will play a key role in the acceptance of referrals from community agencies, intake of new VIS Friends (clients), documentation of new service requests, referring callers to resources in the community, and directing of other incoming calls to the appropriate staff member. The Intake Specialist will “lean into relationship” with callers and feel comfortable praying with those in need. They will conduct follow-up communications with long-term VIS connections and assist with other projects as needed. This is a part-time position of 20 hours/week: preferably Monday-Thursday from 10am-3pm, with flexibility. Interested? CLICK HERE for the job description.
